Further Information

7pm to 9pm, Tuesday 28th May ______________________________ Over the course of this Italian Cookery Workshop, you'll be learning how to make a selection of Venetian Cicchetti and Spritz, with Sofia Gallo and Fabio, from The Venetian Kitchen. Here's what Fabio has to say: "Born and raised in Venice, I inherited a deep passion for cooking from my Mother, a true Venetian who lived in the Cannaregio region. Every day, she would cook meals for the whole family from scratch. She taught me about making delicious food using simple, fresh ingredients and one fundamental lesson: but first, flavour. Growing up, I spent a lot of time in the kitchen with her, learning the secrets of Venetian cuisine that combine flavours and stories from the sea, land, and lagoon. If there is one thing that I learnt, it's that good food makes people happy, but food is also about joy, passion, life, family, and friends. Alongside The Venetian Kitchen, I also run the baking blog the Italian Baker, where I share baking recipes with an Italian twist and run Brixton Windmill baking classes throughout the year." Once you've made your dishes (with Sofia & Fabio's guidance), you'll be invited to tuck in with your fellow guests. The bar will be open throughout the evening, so you'll be able to enjoy a beverage or two while you work!
